Violence amid COVID-19 Lockdown

Violence, most especially Gender-based Violence (GBV) in Nigeria is more than what we can imagine. Despite being the most prevalent human rights abuse, GBV is still one of the least reported. Kimpact Violence Track and monitoring effort reveal that the situation in Nigeria during COVID-19 lockdown reflects a tremendous increase in the cases of gender-based violence.
